Global communication

Global communication is the process of transmitting and receiving information on a world-wide scale. It is seen important to communicate with people all over the world. This communication started centuries before and it helped people not to be isolated. First it was quite difficult because of the distance, but technology made it easer.

Is global communication important? Sure it is. Just click in Google about this topic and lots of pages talking about this will show up. This means that it’s important for us. Receiving and giving information on a world-wide scale has helped us know the world, reach new cultures and increase our economy. Global markets offer us products to make this communication easer. With the help of technology global communication has become increasingly faster and clearer. The internet for example, is an easy way to get in touch with people all over the world. Mobile phones or telephones are now a good way for grandparents (who are not used with the internet) to communicate with grandchildren or with their children. 20 years ago Albanians couldn’t receive information from West places, or give information to them. That’s one of the reasons why they were not very developed. Once they started to communicate, they realized that to be on their level, they need to change many things. It made people think differently and opened their minds. Markets are now using global communication to increase their sales. Their products may be sold to many people all over the world. We should also remember that global communication started as a result of trading.

However, I think that there can be done much more things to enhance global communication. Even if the internet is easy and fast, it’s quite difficult for old people, or for those who don’t know how to use computer very well. You may say that they can use cell phones, but anyway, they are expensive and not a lot of people could afford it. People should now think of new, attractive ways of communication and find ways to cut costs.

Anyway, expensive or not, easy or difficult, global communication is one of the most important things in our lives. We should all pay attention to it and find new ways how to develop it.
